My mother is a Kashmiri Pundit, and my father is half Sardar and half Multani, so I am a true cross-border cocktail. I’ve lived most of my life in Mumbai–growing up on Carmichael Road. My first school was Casa Bambino, then Greenlawns, JB Petit, HR College, Knox College and finally Miami University. While my academic life is a smooth transition from one phase to another, my personal and professional lives are punctured with abrupt starts and stops.

I’m the cuckoo who keeps flying out of the nest and keeps flying back again!

I always refer to myself as the girl who lost out on life because she couldn’t make up her mind.
